MBBF
or Mill Bay Baptist Fellowship. In 2010 a group that was meeting in a home for Bible studies felt led by God to organize a Church in the Mill Bay, Shawnigan Lake, Cobble Hill area. The group moved to the Mill Bay Community League Hall and started having services.

The current five-acre property was purchased in Mill Bay in January 2014. The Church continued to move forward and under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, construction of the building began July 19, 2017. While Sunday gatherings continued in the Hall, occasional activities, such as community barbecues, were held on the Church property. The congregation moved into the Church facility with the first service on September 2, 2018.

MBBF was thriving with a strong love for one another and a desire to reach the community. There were monthly fellowship meals after Sunday worship in the Church foyer. Then along came Covid. Some ministries were put on hold, while others went online. Members continued to care for one another as they were able.

While many of us are grey-haired, we are young at heart and will treat you like family. We place a major emphasis on young families and adolescents because they are the future of the church, and we want to grow young! We continue to believe God has a bright future for the Church in being the light of the Gospel of Jesus to the community.

MBBF is situated in Mill Bay, but also draws people from Shawnigan Lake, Cobble Hill, Duncan, and Langford.

MBBF desires to welcome new people of all ages to the Church family.

MBBF belongs to the Canadian Baptist of Western Canada.
