 | Jon EmanuelLead Pastor Jon was born and raised in Louisiana and moved to the Cowichan Valley in 2017. Jon has been involved in full time ministry for over 10 years and is excited for the season ahead as Lead Pastor at MBBF. He is committed to reaching out to the “farthest person out” with the gospel and love of Jesus Christ. Jon also loves to lead worship on occasion. Outside of work, Jon can be found with his lovely family. He and his beautiful wife Amanda have three children and enjoy frequenting local hikes, beaches, and markets. Jon also enjoys woodworking and diy projects. |
 | Tammy KlassenPastor of Family Ministries Tammy was born in Southern California and raised there and in Brandon, Manitoba. She moved to the Cowichan Valley in 1988, where she and husband Rick raised their three children. Tammy has been involved in youth ministry for over 35 years and was ordained in 2012. She loves the “aha” moments of ministry when something clicks for a teenager and she also enjoys planning events that reach out into the community. Her favourite scripture is Philippians 2. Outside of work, Tammy loves spending time with her four grandkids, coaching basketball, traveling, and reading. |
